- Q 2 How do I install my graphics after I purchase them?
A 2 Smaller Decals (Dry Method):
1. Clean area where graphic is going to be placed.
2. Remove backing from decal.
3. Place graphic in desired location.
4. Rub decal down with a firm card or squeegie.
5. Remove transfer tape from top of graphic. If graphic tries to pull up, rub it down again.
6. Enjoy decal for many years!
Larger Graphic (Wet Method):
1. Clean area where graphic is going to be placed.
2. Use a spray bottle filled with water and add couple of drops of dish washing liquid to it(like Dawn).
3. Place graphic face down and remove the backing from it (if too large to handle get help).
4. Lightly spray a fine mist on the back side of the graphic.
5. Lightly spray a fine mist on the surface you are applying the graphic to.
6. Apply the graphic to the wet surface.
7. Measure and align for final placement and remove all fluid with a firm card or squeegie.
8. Once dried (usually 10-20 min.) Slowly remove transfer tape from surface. If graphic wants to pull up press paper back down and squeegie again to remove excess fluid. Let set to dry again(another 5-10 min.)
9. Job well done! Enjoy your new graphic!
Warning: DO NOT install decals in extreme heat, cold, windy or moisture conditions.
